About TLI Cycling South West
Based in Devon & Cornwall and promoting competitive cycling across the South West, we are passionate about making time trial events friendly, accessible, and affordable for everyone. Whether you are taking your first pedal strokes into racing or competing as a seasoned veteran, our community welcomes you.
Time trials for everyone
We firmly believe that bicycle racing should be open to all. Our time trials welcome riders of every ability, running dedicated age categories for cyclists from 6 years old right through to 70 and beyond. Whether you ride a standard road bike or a high-end time trial machine, you will find a welcoming start line and supportive fellow riders waiting for you.
Affordable, grassroots racing
Competitive cycling should not cost a fortune. One of the standout benefits of TLI Cycling is our commitment to significantly cheaper entry fees compared to other organisations. We keep overheads low so you can enjoy regular, professionally organised local time trials across the South West without breaking your budget.
Safe, sporting competition
Safety and sportsmanship are central to every race we host. We maintain clear regulations, well-marshalled courses, and accurate electronic timing to deliver a smooth race-day experience. Explore our rules and rider guidance so you know exactly what to expect from your first sign-on to crossing the finish line.
"TLI Cycling South West provides the most welcoming and affordable time trials around. It has allowed our whole family, from our youngest child to their grandad, to compete on the same day."
